Side A: Morning Dawn Lodge No. 7 Free and Accepted Masons. Morning Dawn was the first lodge to be chartered, on January 5, 1810, by the Grand Lodge of Ohio. Andrew Lewis was the first Worshipful Master. Meetings were originally held in J. B. Ferrard's house on the north corner of Locust and Third Streets.
